In a bid to strengthen their partnership with the Guyana Police Force, members of the West La Penitence Community Policing Group (CPG) on Saturday held discussion on various topics with Sergeant Hinds of the Regional Police Division 4 ‘A’, Georgetown.

Present at the meeting were Chairman of the group, Satrahan Harriram; Secretary, Rodrick Gordon; and Committee Members, Safo Harriram and Isaiah Thompson.

A Guyana Police Force release stated that at the meeting, topics discussed with the members of the CPG included, community-oriented policing, having members visit Government buildings and properties including schools by day and night, noise nuisances, mass patrol and warrant drive, muster, and “MOM” projects.

Sergeant Hinds thanked the members on behalf of Commander 4 ‘A’, Assistant Commissioner Simon McBean for their support throughout 2022 and for their continued support in 2023.
