Two fishermen die at Devonshire Castle after hit by speeding car

Two fishermen died early this morning after being hit by a speeding car on the Devonshire Castle Public Road, Essequibo Coast.

The deceased were identified as 52-year-old Mohan Maniram of Devonshire Castle and 23-year-old Zamaan Rafeek of Jib Paradise, Region Two. They were on a bicycle at the time and going to pull their fishing seine. The driver of the car is in custody.
