The Police are investigating a missing person report in which fisherman Chaitnarine Harrinarine, 37, of Devonshire Castle, Essequibo Coast, was reported missing from a fishing boat on which he was working.
According to a release from the police, the man was reported missing around 6:30 on Wednesday and initial investigations revealed that Harrinarine and three other men were aboard a fishing vessel in the Atlantic Ocean when he went to the rear of the boat to ease his bowels.
The other crew members subsequently heard him scream and on checking he was not seen.
