Peters Hall residents being moved to make way for new bridge road

The Ministry of Housing is making preparations to relocate residents from Plantation Peters Hall (CARICOM Scheme), East Bank Demerara  to make way for the proposed road corridor for the new high-rise bridge over the  Demerara River.

In a notice on its Facebook page, the ministry said that the relocation pertains to parcels 367 to 382.

It identified persons who it said should  make urgent contact with the Community Development Department Relocation and Resettlement Unit (CHPA Annex) at 42 Croal Street and United Nations Place, Stabroek.

The persons identified are Orson Furguson, Kellyann Lindore, Ricardo Stewart and Fabi Moses, Shelly Singh as mother and guardian of Sunil Dat, Sherwin Sandy, Sherry Singh as mother and guardian of Matthew Khan, Jhonny and Jami Jaber and Amal Deen.
