The Guyana Police Force’s Regional Division 4B (Traffic Department) on Thursday launched their National Road Safety Council at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, under the theme ‘Safe Driving, Saves Lives’.

Among those delivering remarks at the launch were: Deputy Commissioner, ‘Operations’ Ravindradat Budhram, Commander of Regional Division 4B, Mahendra Singh, Traffic Officer Superintendent Dennis Stephen, Divisional Traffic Officer Maniram Jagnanan, and Coordinator of the Guyana National Road Safety Council (GNRSC) Ramona Doorgen.

The executive body for the council was elected at the meeting and collaboration between the GPF and the GNRSC was discussed as being integral to reducing accidents and loss of life.
