Adrian Hetmyer (left) and Daniel Persaud appeared before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh at the Whim Magistrate’s Court today charged with the offence of trafficking in narcotics to wit approximately 233 lbs (106 kg) of cannabis on 6th November, 2022.
A release from the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit said that Hetmyer and Persaud pleaded guilty. Both were sentenced to 40 months imprisonment and fined approximately $63. 4 million.
