The Georgetown Office Assistants Promotional Committee will conduct an 8-a-side Inter-Secondary School Tape-ball Cricket Competition tomorrow at the Durban Park Tarmac, Homestretch Avenue from 9:00am.
Dubbed ‘5th and 6th Formers Farewell’, the elimination event will attract participation from institutions hailing from West Bank Demerara, East Coast Demerara, Georgetown, West Coast Berbice, and East Bank Demerara.
According to an official release from the coordinating committee, 18 schools thus far have confirmed their participation.
Trophies, medals and other incentives will be awarded to the top three finishers of the tournament. Sponsors of the event include Knight Rider Bus Services and the Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken (Ag). The tournament is being coordinated by James ‘Uprising’ Lewis.
