Dear Editor,
As I grieve for the passing away of my brother Pandit Chandrecca Persaud of Patentia, West Bank Demerara, I reflect on his life in consistent service as a Hindu Priest, Justice of the Peace, Commission-er of Oaths. His departure from this life has left many in sadness and his presence will certainly be missed as a community figure. May we always value those who serve us.
