A brand new sign board was yesterday handed over to the Guyana Society for the Blind.

Disability Rights Advocate and Consultant, Leroy Phillips told Stabroek News yesterday via phone that the sign board was handed over by the society’s volunteer group. Phillips explained that the freshly designed signage was created as the volunteers had decided that the organization needed a new one. A handing over ceremony was held at the Institute’s 44 High Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown office.
