Sherwyn Quincy Davis, a 31-year-old security guard of East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, Georgetown, was arrested on June 27 and charged with the following offences: possession of a firearm without licence and possession of ammunition without a licence which occurred at the Fantasy Casino.
The defendant appeared on Tuesday, at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus, where the charges were read to him.
According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at the Fantasy Casino in the Giftland Mall, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown.
Davis pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $75,000 for each charge. The matter was adjourned to July 19.
