Nicholas Verwey, Avery Arjoon, and Louis Da Silva were crowned divisional champions when the 39th edition of the Junior Caribbean Squash Championships continued in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
In the Boy’s U19 final, Nicholas Verwey defeated Alex Stewart of Barbados in straight sets 12-10, 11-1, and 11-6. Similarly, Arjoon won the Girl’s U15 title, defeating Somers Stevenson 11-7, 11-5, and 11-6. Likewise, Da Silva crushed compatriot Mohryan Baksh 17-15, 9-11, 11-4, and 11-7 in the Boy’s U17 final.
Meanwhile, Kirsten Gomes lost to Barbadian Sumairaa Suleman 11-6, 8-11, 9-11, and 6-11 in the Girl’s U19 final, while Kayle Lowe went down 7-11, 7-11, 12-10, and 2-11 in the Girl’s U13 final to Lenna Hamati.
