The National Draughts Association (NDA) will conduct a national championship on Sunday at the Georgetown Football Club Pavilion, Bourda from 10:00am.
The event which will serve as the resumption of competitive play following the suspension of activities due to the previous Covid-19 pandemic, will be contested on 8×8 boards and will utilize a six-round system consisting of two games per match.
Both A and B-class competitors will feature but will be judged separately in the event which was made possible following contributions from the ISA Islamic School and Attorney-at-Law Gentle Elias. Further information can be acquired from tournament coordinator Steve Bacchus at 696-0998.
