SN’s editorial on gov’t’s third anniversary a stifling of conscience

Dear Editor,

The government had nothing to cheer and celebrate in the SN Editorial (August 2) on its third anniversary.  Three years in government and nothing positive to report on, but still in office. True there have been missteps and mistakes.  True some things could have been done different. True the Editorial has presented realistic positions on matters. But not to highlight a single positive development seems to strike as a stifling of conscience.  For three years it has been nothing but doom and gloom, or this the Editorial would have us believe.

Sincerely,

Shamshun Mohamed
