The U.S. Embassy yesterday said that Mahendra Phagwah will represent Guyana in this year’s Community Solutions exchange program (CSP).
A release from the embassy said that the CSP is a four-month leadership development programme designed to train changemakers to tackle issues in their community. During the fellowship, Phagwah will work with Growing Gardens in Portland, Oregon. a U.S. nonprofit organization to advance his community work.
Upon his return, the release said that Phagwah will apply his new skills through a community action project in Guyana.
