Devon Hubbard, 35, of Lot 91 Garnett Street, Campbellville, George-town on Monday appear-ed at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Rhondell Weever to answer to the offence of break and enter and larceny which he denied.
It is alleged between 8th and 9th July 2023, at Thomas Street, George-town, the defendant broke and enter the Unification Church and stole one projector valued $200,000, two microphones valued $100,000 and one speaker box valued $180,000, property of the Unification Church.
The Prosecutor objected to bail due the prevalence of the offence and given that the defendant was previously convicted for a matter of a similar nature. Bail was refused and Hubbard is expected to make his next court appearance on 4th September for statements.
