The police today said that Kevin Surfin, 40, of Speightland Village, Lower Kara Kara, Linden died after a beating inflicted by several persons.
In a release, the police said that Surfin plunged into a creek to avoid his attackers. When he emerged from the creek he collapsed and was later pronounced dead. When his body was examined, a small wound was seen in the region of his heart.
