Mr Fried Chicken’s apology should have been widely published

Dear Editor,

Your newspaper of  yesterday indicates that a letter of apology was sent by the owner and management of the Mr Fried Chicken store to the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha and  apparently in the same letter the owner gave an unacceptable and ridiculous excuse that his shipment of bags was delayed . It seems most incredulous that this establishment could somehow only locate these bags with Hindu symbols to package his fried chicken and other products.

Be that as it may,  I  believe in the interest of transparency since this matter has  affected the sensibilities of all Hindus belonging to a multitude of organizations across the land  that the “apology” letter itself should have been sent to the press and widely published along with any suitable “caution” letter from the Ethnic Relations Commission . This in my view would have brought the matter to a satisfactory conclusion as opposed to the way it was dealt with as reported in your article in yesterday’s newspapers so any other person(s) having the proclivity for this kind of deviant behaviour would understand that  consequences would flow therefrom.

Namaskar
