On Monday, villagers from Kumu in Region Nine commenced harvesting paddy, marking the beginning of an era for agriculture in the region, the Department of Public Information (DPI) reported. This accomplishment follows commitments made by the Irfaan Ali-led government to the people of Region Nine who expressed an interest in cultivating rice.
