Daniel Seeram, a PNCR executive and the chairman of Region Four, was granted $50,000 in bail by Magistrate Alisha George yesterday when he appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court on a wife abuse charge.
It was reported that in the early hours of the morning of September 13, Seeram and his wife got into a violent fight that ended with Seeram brandishing his licensed firearm.
His wife subsequently filed a report at the Turkeyen police station with signs of abuse visible about her body, according to the police.
