A police constable attached to Regional Division # 2, Pomeroon/Supenaam, has been under ‘close arrest’ since Friday after an air pistol was found in his car along with two live 9mm rounds.
A police report stated that the black air pistol was found after a search was conducted on the cop’s motor car, PAB 1605, at around 16:15 hours on Friday. A further search discovered two live 9mm rounds of ammunition on the driver’s side.
The rank was told of the offence committed and taken the Anna Regina Police Station, where he is assisting with the investigation.
