Lusignan captures the Navin/Hanso/Revision Optical T20 Championship

Lusignan Sports Club defeated their Enmore counterpart by five wickets to clinch the coveted Navin/Hanso/Revision Optical T20 Championship.

Lusignan overhauled Enmore’s total of 150-8 to finish on 152-5 with two balls to spare. Batting first, Enmore was led by Rudolph Singh, who scored 70 runs, while Amir Khan scored 36. For the bowlers, Chanderpaul Ramraj recorded figures of 3-15, while Kumar Bishundial provided ample support with 3-21.

In reply, Vishnu Ramjeet scored for the victor with an unbeaten 57, while Shazam Ali assisted with an undefeated 32. Robin Williams and Rajindra Naikbarran chipped in with 16 runs each.

Richard Chaturia was the pick of the bowlers for Enmore with figures of 2-20, while Chaitram Balgobin registered 2-43, and Rajpaul Basdeo tallied 1-25.

Due to the result, Lusignan walked away with $150,000, while Ramjeet was adjudged the man of the match for his match-winning innings. Similarly, teammate Ramraj won the best bowler title. On the other side, Enmore received $75,000, while Rudolph collected the best batsman accolade.

In the third-place game, Industry Rubis defeated Strathavon in a reduced 16-over affair by four wickets. Due to the outcome, Industry Rubis walked away with $50,000, while Strathavon pocketed $25,000.
