New Amsterdam plagued by mosquitos

Dear Editor,

As the town week festivities should have been concluded by now in all its joy and fanfare for New Amsterdam, the town is plagued by these little insects. These insects are definitely biting insects and may need to be repelled by shoo or mozipel, these insects are called mosquitoes. Fun weeks of mosquitoes plague the town, as people have to rush under their nets and not be able to relax in comfort. It is quite simple to eradicate such nuisance by fogging exercises, land clearing and drain cleaning throughout the town. The town council needs to collaborate with the Ministry of Health for the safety of our people as dengue was on the rise a few months ago. The town council needs to work together to ensure our people are best served rather than go on Facebook Live and show the commissioning of trucks and sharing quotes on social media.

Sincerely,
