As the Venezuela referendum approaches Guyana needs all the international friends it can find

Dear Editor,

It is good to see that Foreign Secretary Robert Persaud will be in London next weekend for the  important  conference on the future of Guyana’s Black Gold-Oil. Whilst here I urge him to engage the British Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office and other diplomats for support in the Guyana-Venezuela border controversy. At this moment in time and with the danger becoming ever present as the December 3 Referendum approaches, Guyana needs all the international friends it can find.

Yours,

John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
