Day two of the National Sports Commission/East Bank Football Association/Ralph Green Under-11 League kicked off at the Agricola Community Ground on Sunday and saw seven of the eight matches producing a winner while the other match was a 1-1 draw.

The Fruta Conquerors juniors notched up the most goals of the day in their 7-0 win over Samatta Point/Kaneville, one less than their opening-day tally of eight.

Santos was also in very good goal-scoring form dispatching the Herstelling Raiders 6-1.

Swan replicated the Fruta Conquerors and Santos’ feat of staying unbeaten thus far when they got past Agricola Red Triangle, 4-0.

Den Amstel also stayed unbeaten with a 3-0 win over Riddim Squad while Pouderoyen held on to edge the Timehri Panthers 2-1.

On the other hand, Friendship All-Stars and Diamond United both had walkovers courtesy of their opponents being no-shows thus handing them maximum points with no effort.

The lone draw of the day was recorded in a spirited clash between Vengy and Eagles FC of Stewartville. That match ended 1-1 with both sides walking away with a point each.

This Sunday (November 26) will see the matches decide the eight quarter-finalists (top two in each group) as the business end of the league rolls out the following week.
