In a solemn ceremony, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) bid a final farewell to Warrant Officer Class Two Jason Khan on Friday. Family, friends, and loved ones, including those who knew him as a talented basketball player, gathered at Burnham Court to pay tribute to him. Chief of Staff, Brigadier Omar Khan presented the national flag, which draped WO2 Khan’s casket, to his grieving widow and one to his eldest daughter. Warrant Officer Class Two Khan gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country, leaving an indelible mark on the nation.
