Clarendon, VM04, storm into KFC Football Championship semi-final round

Clarendon College of Jamaica and VM04 of Suriname sealed their respective semi-final berths when the KFC Goodwill U18 Football Championship continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue. In a top-of-the table clash to decide the group winner among undefeated teams, Clarendon downed Chase Academy 2-0. Daniel Clark scored in the 30th minute to break the deadlock, while Terron Williams sealed the result with an 89th conversion.

Meanwhile, VM04 sealed their place in the final four sections, defeating DC Caesar Fox 4-3. Matthew Soetosenojo, Keith Felter, Justin Jackson, and Arivin Djojoseparto netted in the 45th, 47th, 53rd, and 58th minutes, respectively. On target in the loss were Kemron Thomas, Anthonio Isaacs, and Bruce Williams in the 20th, 36th, and 76th minutes, respectively.
