Phillip Morgan, a 38-year-old unemployed resident of Friendship, East Coast Demerara was arrested on 2023-12-24 and charged on Wednesday by ranks of the Vigilance Police Station with possession of 119 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
The defendant appeared on Wednesday at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment and a $10,000 fine.
