Charles Kurleigh Louis, 41, of Lot 39 Norton Street, Wortmanville Georgetown appeared yesterday before Magistrate Delon Bess at the George-town Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with assault.
It is alleged that on Friday December 15, Charles Kurleigh Louis assaulted Adel Amanda Persaud at Lot 39 Norton Street, Wortmanville.
In his bail application, his attorney assured the court that his client was not a flight risk and that he is the training instructor at Correia Group of Com-panies, with an impeccable reputation.
Louis was placed on $20,000 bail.
His next scheduled court appearance is on February 2.
