Three suspects are slated to be charged with the possession of 365 grammes of marijuana discovered in a bucket inside a home at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.

According to a police press release, on Friday, police ranks conducted a raid on the home of Sara Griffith, a 22-year-old of Yarrowkabra, where they found a bucket containing 365 grammes of marijuana. There were two other occupants in the house: Corwin Simmons, a 21-year-old labourer, and Marcus Henry, a 23-year-old labourer.

According to the police, they found a bucket containing several clear plastic bags and one black plastic bag containing leaves, seeds and stems of marijuana in the kitchen area of the flat wooden house. The trio were told of the offence committed, arrested and taken to the Timehri Police Station.

The marijuana was weighed in their presence and amounted to 365 grammes.

The three suspects are slated to be charged.
