In keeping with a promise made by President Irfaan Ali on Saturday to develop the skillset of youths from Kitty, Minister in the Ministry of Works Deodat Indar and other Cabinet colleagues yesterday engaged them on pathways to develop their careers.

A release from the Ministry of Public Works said that the overwhelming response from the youths saw many of them signing up for training in heavy-duty machinery, electrical installation, and making of concrete blocks, among other skills.

The Minister identified an area in the community to establish a concrete block making facility and also pledged to donate a ransom mixer to be used for the activities.

Ministers Joseph Hamilton, Charles Ramson Jr, Kwame McCoy and technical officials attended the meeting.
