Back Circle, Bent Street, Family, and California Square secured quarterfinal berths when the inaugural ‘Georgetown versus the Rest’ Street-ball Championship continued on Friday evening.

Staged at the Back Circle Tarmac in East Ruimveldt, the home side brushed aside Broad Street 2-0. Likewise, Family downed Make It Happen 2-0. Meanwhile, Bent Street dismissed Ballerz Empire 2-0. On the other hand, California Square edged the Victoria Eagles 3-2.

The tournament continues on Tuesday with the quarterfinal round. The winner of the event will pocket $400,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third, and fourth-place finishers will walk away with $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000, respectively. On the individual side, the eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP) will ride away with a motorcycle.
