Three construction workers remanded over break and enter

Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara; Yashua Angoy, an 18-year-old construction worker from Second Street Kaneville, EBD; and Michael Vanderstoop, a 36-year-old construction worker from Grove Housing Scheme, EBD, were all arrested on February 16th, 2024 for the offence of ‘break-and-enter-and-larceny’ committed on the dwelling house of Vidnarine Singh.

The three accused appeared yesterday at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Judy Latchman where the charge was read to them. They all pleaded not guilty. Bail was refused and they were remanded to prison.

The matter was adjourned to March 13th, 2024.
