Noel Tobin, a 28-year-old taxi driver of Bartica who was arrested last week for possession of 33,470 grammes of marijuana and was charged yesterday.
Tobin appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Crystal Lambert to answer the charge of Possession of Narcotic for the Purpose of Trafficking. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison. The matter was postponed to 2024-03-18.
Ranks from the Bartica Police Station in Regional Division #7 arrested Tobin, after a search of his apartment unearthed 33,470 grams of marijuana.
