No public statement has been issued by the Guyana Power and Light Inc (GPL) on disruptions to the Demerara-Berbice Interconnected System yesterday.
On and off blackouts yesterday left residents along the coast fuming.
GPL posted periodic updates on its Facebook page yesterday but these have since been deleted in keeping with its practice and the public is still to be told via a statement from the company about what transpired.
