GCC, Old Fort, Saints win in Kellogg’s U-14 Hockey League

The GCC Pitbulls, Old Fort Divas, and Saints Sensations tallied comfortable wins when the Kellogg’s Boys and Girls U-14 Hockey League continued on Friday.

Staged at the Queen’s College facility, the GCC Pitbulls crushed the Multi Rockets 5-1 in the boy’s division. Kristian Viapree bagged a hat-trick in the third, fourth, and 18th minutes. Adding goals in the 10th and 17th minutes were Luke Scott and Egan Bulkan. On target in the loss was Brandon Layne in the 12th minute.

Similarly, Saints Sensations brushed aside Queen’s College 3-0 in the girl’s segment. Kaiyra Scott, Hadassa Fraser, and Carenza Copeland scored in the first, third, and fifth minutes, respectively.

Continuing in the same segment, the Old Fort Divas defeated the Hikers Junior Jets 2-0. Tinasha Henry and Kaitanna Percival scored in the third and ninth minutes, respectively.

On the other hand, the Old Fort Gladiators thumped Queen’s College 6-0 in the boy’s segment. Jimmy Carpio recorded a hat-trick in the second, ninth, and 12th minutes, while Kai Simon bagged a brace in the eighth and 17th minutes.
