Rising star Keyon Britton’s participation in the ‘Champion of Champions’ boxing tournament in St. Lucia received a timely boost as United States of America (USA)-based Guyanese Samuel Gittens made a contribution towards his airfare.
The U-16 standout will journey to St. Lucia alongside coach Clifton Moore to compete in the competition, which will be staged from April 12th-14th.
Gittens, during his brief remarks, stated that he was impressed with the constant evolution of Britton, noting that the pugilist is destined for a bright future in the sport if he remains committed and disciplined.
