Motorcyclist in Perseverance accident succumbs

The teenager who was involved in a motorcycle accident on the Perseverance Public Road has succumbed to his injuries.

Homindra Lall, 16, of Cullen, Essequibo Coast,  died at the Georgetown Public Hospital while in the intensive care unit. 

The fire that erupted

He was involved in a collision on April 10 on the Perseverance Public Road. He was heading to Golden Fleece to catch fish with his cousin when he collided with a Nissan X-Trail SUV. He was picked up in an unconscious state and rushed to the Suddie Public Hospital. The bike caught fire after the accident.

Lall suffered several fractures about his body and injuries to his head and was bleeding profusely. He was subsequently transferred to Georgetown Public Hospital neurosurgery department. 

His mother, Claudette Lall, said that her son’s death was a shock to the family. “His death was sudden, I cannot imagine what went wrong, my son will be missed.”
