Agricola and Swan recorded contrasting wins when the East Bank Demerara Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Sunday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Agricola squeaked past the Herstelling Raiders 1-0. Jaden Paul recorded the only conversion in the 41st minute.
On the other hand, Swan downed the Pakuri Warriors 3-1. It was a second-half explosion from the Swan as they recorded three unanswered goals after surrendering a first-half lead in the 22nd minute to Tino Simon.
Ronell Bovell commenced the comeback as he levelled proceedings in the 67th minute. Jeremiah Duke then pushed Swan into the lead as he found the back of the net in the 85th minute. The come-from-behind win was then sealed two minutes later as Bovell completed his brace.
