Reagan Pollard continued his impressive showing in the BCQS International Squash Tournament yesterday in Christ Church, Barbados, as he recorded a commanding 3-0 victory over Barbadian Andy Gill.
Pollard thrashed Gill 11-5, 11-4, and 11-4. Meanwhile, Robin Low got back to winning ways with an 11-7, 11-2 win over Canadian Robert Lompart in the Men’s 55-64 section. Similarly, Dennis Dias downed Ruairidh Mackenzie of Barbados 11-7, 11-3, and 11-4 in the Men’s 65 and over category.
However, Joseph Mekdeci lost twice in the Men’s 55-64 segment. Mekdeci went down to Colin Mowser of Trinidad and Tobago 11-13, 5-11, 11-7, and 6-11 in his first match. He then lost to Barbadian Tony MacKenzie 7-11, 10-12.
The event continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
