Dear Editor,
The video circulating of a rodent infestation at one of the country’s hospitals (GDN) is painful as it is disgusting. But what is even more disgusting, is following the video the hospital administration, reactively sprung into action.
Surely, this infestation did not suddenly appear. There must have been signs. It seems these were either ignored or not given due attention needed.
This is pure damn nonsense.
A booming country, for rats to be crawling and running on hospital beds is an indictment of the hospital administration and by extension the health sector. Accountability for this damming situation is necessary.
