GBA to send boxing team to St Lucia

After sending a successful team of amateur pugilists to the Horace Phillips Memorial Boxing Tournament in Barbados, the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) is now planning to send a team to St.

Eastman wins feature event at CIDI programme

In perfect conditions for racing at the National Park yesterday, Team United’s Hamzah Eastman secured victory in the feature 35-lap event of  the inaugural 11-race Caribbean International Distributors Inc.

UG Wolves upset Yamaha Caribs

Under the floodlights of the GDF ground on Wednesday, the UG Wolves howled to a 26-14 upset victory over the star-studded Yamaha Caribs to lift the GDF’s 48th anniversary 7’s rugby trophy.

Roraima Bikers Club (RBC), Alanzo Greaves returned to his triumphant ways yesterday by winning the feature 30-lap event of the eighth annual George Cumberbatch Memorial event in a thrilling five-man sprint finish.

Ansa Mc Al support for Goodwill boxing

The Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) received a timely shot in the arm yesterday when regional conglomerate Ansa McAL pledged its support for the International Goodwill tournament which boxes off tomorrow.
