PHNOM PENH, (Reuters) – A stampede on a bridge in  Cambodia’s capital killed at least 339 people late today  and wounded nearly as many after thousands panicked on the last  day of a water festival, authorities and state media said.

Seven die in Suriname mine collapse

Seven men were killed and two others were seriously injured when the sand walls of a gold mine collapsed in Suriname, police in the neighbouring country said, according to Agence France- Presse (AFP).
