Demerara XI crowned GCB girls U19 champs

A Demerara XI was yesterday crowned the overall winners of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) girls U19 T20 tournament despite their final round one-run loss to the President’s XI at the Everest Cricket Club ground.

Joseph, Cheeks to battle in Squash final 

The final of the 2018 Bounty Farm Limited Handicap squash tournament will be decided between Alexander Cheeks and Nyron Joseph after both won their semifinal matches last evening at the Georgetown Club Squash courts at Camp Street.

Joseph to face Narine in Bounty squash semis

In the most exciting match of the evening, current men’s national champion, Nyron Joseph defeated one of Guyana’s Commonwealth Games selectees, Taylor Fernandes in the third evening of the Bounty Farm Ltd.

Rampersaud spins Berbice into final 

Defending champions Berbice will head into Saturday’s final of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Dave West Indian Imports Inter-County Under-15 tournament against Demerara, unbeaten, after defeating Essequibo by 62 runs at the Everest Cricket Club Ground, yesterday.

Berbice brushes aside Demerara by five wickets

Off-spinner Jonathan Rampersaud backed up his first round four-wicket haul with another exceptional bowling performance to spin Berbice to a five-wicket win over Demerara in the second round of Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Dave West Indian Imports under – 15 inter county tournament at the Everest Cricket Club ground, yesterday.
