All Stars clash today in Cricket Hurricane Relief T20 match

A number of regional and local cricketers are set to go on show this evening in a Guyana All-Star versus a Caribbean All-Star matchup at the Guyana National Stadium, in a humanitarian gesture to raise funds for hurricane relief after hurricanes Irma and Maria ravished parts of the region recently.

Adams, Ali–Mohamed set up another GCC, DCC final

Anthony Adams produced a mean spell of spin bowling while national under – 19 captain Ronaldo Ali-Mohamed blasted an unbeaten 30 in a combined effort to hand the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) a commanding five-wicket win over the Police Sports Club in the second semi-final of the Georgetown Cricket Association, Carib Beer T20 tournament at the GCC ground, Bourda yesterday.

Perez steers DCC to exciting win over Everest

West Indies Under-19 selectee Raymond Perez, yesterday produced an impressive knock to spur the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) to a thrilling four-wicket win over Everest Cricket Club in the first semi-final of the Georgetown Cricket Association, Carib Beer, first-division T20 tournament at the DCC Ground.

Sixteen–year-old left-arm spinner Ashmead Nedd grabbed 6–70 while Robin Bacchus and Christopher Barnwell produced attacking second innings knocks to spur Georgetown to a comfortable six-wicket win over West Demerara at the Tuschen Sports Club Ground yesterday in the Guyana Cricket Board/Franchise League tournament.

Rain prevents thrilling end in E’bo, East Bank encounter 

Rain had the final say in an exciting encounter between Essequibo and East Bank as the umpires were forced to call time on the match ruling that the outfield was not suitable for play after the rains came 30 minutes before the luncheon interval on day – three at the Everest Cricket Club ground Camp Road yesterday.

Gajanand eyes return to Regional 4-Day cricket

Griffith lays out blueprint for national selection
