Major upgrade to squash courts for C/bean Junior showdown

The Guyana Squash Association (GSA) is all set to host the Caribbean Area Squash Association Junior Championships (CASA) which runs from July 1 – 9 with ongoing rehabilitation works at the two main venues expected to host the championships.

Demerara crush Essequibo by an innings and 106 runs

Demerara began their title defence of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Hand-in-Hand Under19 three-day Inter County tournament with a resounding innings and 106-run win over Essequibo at the Police Sports Club Ground Eve Leary, yesterday, winning with an entire day to spare.

Ali–Mohamed’s all round efforts ensure Demerara retain title

  Demerara Under19 vice-captain Ronaldo Ali- Mohamed yesterday, produced a quality all-round performance to propel Demerara to a clinical six-wicket win over the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Select Under17 XI in the final of the Hand-in-Hand Inter-County one-day tournament at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

Yadram and Algoo hit centuries as Demerara, U17 record victories

Williams wants fixed period for volleyball

President of the Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA), Trevor Williams, at the opening of the DVA-A – Division Volleyball league said that he hopes that the league will present an unvarying time period where competitive and intense volleyball is played.
