Second wedding expo set for April 16-18

Guyana’s second wedding expo scheduled for April 16-18 was launched yesterday at the Roraima Duke Lodge.

National Rehabilitation Strategy launched

The National Rehabilitation Strategy, which is aimed at strengthening services offered to persons living with disabilities, was launched yesterday amid calls for the issue to remain a priority on the health sector’s agenda.

This year’s Carib Soca Monarch, Orlando ‘Bonesman’ Johashen, who yesterday received a cheque for $1million and a trophy from the sponsors, said that in hindsight the money “means a whole lot”.
