Regatta visitors stranded, forced to pay higher fares

Persons visiting the community to be a part of the Easter Regatta activities on Bartica were forced to pay more than the regular fare to travel to the community via speed boat despite earlier assurance by chairman of the Regatta Committee that they would work to prevent that from happening.

It was three days of unadulterated excitement and entertainment at the 2010 Bartica Regatta and not even the rains stopped persons from enjoying themselves.
