Dear Editor, Dr Frank Anthony seems to be forgetting his place as a public servant, accountable to the people of Guyana.

Dear Editor, Special attention has to be placed on the Charity school dormitory.

Dear Editor, The actions of the elected officials in response to queries concerning the operations of the publicly funded Caribbean Press are but a microcosm of the general PPP philosophy in respect to  the resources of this nation, whether it be NICIL, the absurdities of Mr Jagdeo’s treatment of the  broadcast allocations, or the spite-driven crusade to impose their will on the city council, even if  doing so requires endangering the health of the citizens of Georgetown.

Dear Editor, I worked in the Postal Service for almost four decades and have resided in Georgetown for all my life.

Dear Editor, The Attorney General, Anil Nandlall, a few days ago told the nation that Opposition Leader David Granger refused to agree to the appointment of Justice Ian Chang and Justice Carl Singh to fill the posts of Chief Justice and Chancellor, respectively.

Dear Editor, I am moved to respond to Mr Gordon Forte’s letter ‘Race appeals to naked greed’ (SN, June 5) to point out that in Africa people of the same race engage in tribal wars, and in India people of the same ethnicity have religious conflict.

Dear Editor, I pen these words with the consciousness of the ever present fact that the issue of radio licences is of vital importance to the maintenance of our democracy.

Dear Editor, I am very disappointed that the Opposition Leader, David Granger, has refused to agree to the confirmation of Justice Carl Singh and Justice Ian Chang as Chancellor and Chief Justice, respectively, since these distinguished and honourable gentlemen have been acting in those positions for several years.

Dear Editor, It is astounding to realize that the minimum insurance permitted for minibuses, hire cars, lorries ‒ even heavy duty ones ‒ for collision (Full Third Party) is a mere $25,000, and for injuries and death $20,000. 

Dear Editor, I refer to an article in the June 3 edition of Stabroek News captioned ‘Prospective cable operator calls for fair allocation of spectrum.’

Dear Editor, Instead of addressing what I’ve raised about the management of the Caribbean Press, the Minister of Culture, Dr Frank Anthony continues to present misrepresentations and half-truths, completely hides from journalists asking hard questions, or is content to let the PPP’s idiotic phantom letter writers and ‘columnists’ engage in the ad hominem and pathetically ineffective attacks against me.

Dear Editor, The New Building Society must be commended for consistently bringing down the mortgage interest rates.

Dear Editor, Residents of the new Herstelling Scheme completed in 2011 and handed over early 2012 are upset about the deplorable state of the roads.
