Dear Editor, I wish to bring to the attention of the hierarchy of the Guyana Police Service some of the good work achieved by ‘G’ Division police officers.

Dear Editor, Ever since the inauguration of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) in April 2005, and even before that, after its establishment in February 2001, I have been calling on regional leaders to abolish appeals from the Privy Council and accept the CCJ as the final court, but unfortunately the pleas are unheeded and so far only three countries, Guyana, Barbados and Belize have joined.

Dear Editor, Are Guyanese writers so bad?  The statement by Dr David Davydeen on the quality of submissions to Caribbean Press seem to speak more of exasperation and lack of editing resources than of the capacities of the Guyanese literary aspirant.

Dear Editor, The elected members of the Kwakwani Neighbourhood Development Committee are seeking to have their Independence Message published as they were not afforded the opportunity to deliver same at our community flag-raising ceremony held in Kwakwani.

Dear Editor, I’m a frequent listener to the debates in parliament by both the government and the opposition on various matters.
