Dear Editor, Your editorial of Sunday June 26 captioned ‘Partnership’ was fairly balanced and objective except for one point which you did not fully take into consideration when dealing with the issue of voter apathy.

Dear Editor,When the PPP ascended to power in 1992, it promised the Guyanese people and its main supporting constituency of Indians that it would secure them and guarantee their safety and security.

Dear Editor, Has the WICB gone further berserk? Of the 20 playing days of the India/WI ODI’s and Test matches, only 4 or 20% of those days are on weekends.

Dear Editor, A letter appearing in the Stabroek News edition of Thursday June 23, authored by John Yow, caught my attention and simultaneously provoked my wrath (‘Not all Lethem residents affected by the flood have been assisted’).

Dear Editor, My trip from Guyana to Bangladesh provided ample examples of the strides that have been/are being made by women in the field of employment with particular reference to breaking the so-called ‘invisible ceiling’ in occupations typically dominated by men, if not the exclusive domain of the male species.

Dear Editor, The important walkway across the creek that separates Pomona Village and Riverstown Village (Essequibo coast) was recently renovated at a cost which I do not know, but from using same I can say that it was well constructed.
